Cheryl Gotthelf,
Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Cheryl Gotthelf, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida.
She has a full time private practice in Hollywood, Florida and specializes
in issues related to Health Psychology. She holds certification in biofeedback
and uses this modality to teach patients relaxation skills in order to
decrease blood pressure, reduce migraine headaches and increase feelings
of self efficacy. In addition, Dr. Gotthelf has extensive experience in
psychological and neuropsychological assessment, including learning disabilities.
On staff at several medical surgical hospitals, Dr. Gotthelf provides
services to patients who have been admitted to a physical rehabilitation
unit and their families. She frequently uses hypnosis with patients who
require pain management or need assistance with smoking cessation.
In addition, Dr. Gotthelf provides continuing education to physicians.
She has been a part-time faculty at Nova Southeastern University, where
she has actively supervised doctoral candidates and taught courses in
Behavioral Science in the School of Dental Medicine as well the Center
for Psychological Studies.

Marsha Minkin, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Marsha Minkin, Psy.D. is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University and
holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship
at NSU with rotations in Neuropsychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology,
Brief Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy for Older Adults with Chronic Mental
Illness. Following her internship, she fulfilled her residency requirements
in private practice for Broward Psychological Associates. At the present
time she continues to work full time in private practice at BPA. She provides
individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Psychosocial,
psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment represent a large
part of her practice.
Dr. Minkin has a special interest in working with individuals with developmental
and physical disabilities. She provides individual and group psychotherapy
for individuals who attend United Cerebral Palsy and Lucanus Developmental
Center. As a participant in the Seminole Education program, she provides
psychoeducational assessment, parenting skills training, and individual
and family therapy.
Prior to entering the field of clinical psychology, Dr. Minkin achieved
a BA in Education and an MA in school psychology. She has 25 years of
experience working with children and families as a teacher, school psychologist
and the director of a private school.

Tammy Kushner, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Tammy Kushner, Psy.D. graduated from Nova Southeastern University with
her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology and completed her doctoral
residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, TX.
Dr. Kushner’s private practice consists of treatment for adults.
She treats individuals as well as couples and provides neuropsychological,
forensic, intellectual and personality assessments. Her special interests
are in the clinical areas of depression, anxiety, neuropsychology and
behavioral medicine.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kushner is the Director of the
Criminal Justice Institute at Nova Southeastern University, a distance
learning master’s degree program. She is also employed by the Broward
County Sheriff’s Office in the Employee Assistance Program.
Dr. Kushner is a former Major in the United States Air Force where she
served as the Commander of the Mental Health Flight as well as the chief
mental health consultant of Hostage Negoations. Dr. Kushner is married,
has two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family.
